Cara Phillips (nee Sutcliffe)

Cara has a strong background in theatre, working in the industry for over ten years, producing and directing many shows in Perth, some of which have toured nationally and internationally. For a long time Cara has had a great interest in physical theatre, producing a large scale physical theatre show in 2005 at the Rechabites Hall in Northbridge. Since that time Cara has been training in different dance and physical arts, with the idea of developing more physical theatre professionally. In late 2011 Cara completed a three month full time course in physical theatre at Total Theatre, taught by Annie Stainer. In 2012 Cara is hoping to really develop this art form in classes in SCAPA, working towards performance opportunities beyond the end of year concert.
