Indi Filmmaking classes are all about, as the title suggests, making films independently. SCAPA Directors Pete and Cara Phillips have travelled the world (well, at least parts of Asia and Africa) for the last two years shooting two independent feature films, as well as one feature and one 40 minute documentary. Indi Film making classes will be taught primarily by Pete Phillips, and will cover all technical aspects of making your own film. Students will try out all crew roles, from Director to Cinematographer to Clapper Operator. Cara Phillips will also do some sessions on directing actors. Students will work towards making their own films during the year.
